1973 MASERATI MERAK 3000 1 of only 630 built
Original Italian car, always owned by meticulous collectors, subjected to numerous mechanical and bodywork interventions by the last owner who has owned it since 2010.
ASI approved in 1997.
In March 2024 it underwent a complete service with the replacement of all oils and fluids, replacement of all water and oil hoses, water pipes from the front radiator to the engine, all filters and battery with a total cost of 1600 euros.
It is still equipped with the original steering wheel in perfect condition which was often replaced with non-original after market accessories.
An excellent car ready for immediate use.
Younger sister of the Maserati Bora with which it shared the splendid design created by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Merak was created to fill the market segment of the Ferrari 308 and Lamborghini Urraco.
Its 300 v6 engine, derived from the Citroen Maserati, would later pave the way for the generation of the Maserati Biturbo created by Alejandro De Tomaso.
Differently from the Bora, the very compact engine allowed the creation of small additional seats, offering customers a beautiful sports car that could also be used occasionally with the family.
