Something unusual for us here at Kingsley but we can't say no to a stunning classic and they don't come much more stunning or classic than this 1972 VW Camper.
This camper has been through a full bare metal restoration and no expense has been spared as can be seen from the pictures. The underside condition is just as good as the bits you can see. Tastefully done in an original style with none of the usual "restomod" features that you get with these. It looks fantastic and it drives perfectly.
Mechanically it had a brand new engine less than 3000 miles ago along with new fuel lines, clutch, fuel sender unit, carburettor, alternator, brake master cylinders, brake pipes, handbrake cables, heater pipes and cables, exhaust, heat exchangers, clutch cable, throttle cable, gear linkages, bushes, wipers, steering column bearing, ball joints, shock absorbers, wheel bearings and driveshaft boots - all of which is backed up by a huge amount of paperwork and receipts.
Over 2000 hours of labour have gone into this VW and it's easy to see how, it wants for absolutely nothing except to be filled with all your gear and driven to the nearest beach, mountain or lake.
