This BMW 735i (E32) SE Auto is now finished as an Alpina B11 3.5 tribute and was acquired in 2015 by the present owner and used by his father for four years. Over the last five years, the car has been used sparingly but serviced, maintained, MoT'd and dry-stored nevertheless. Recent expenditure includes new Bosch fuel injectors in 2020, while during 2022 the front suspension was refurbished using genuine BMW parts and all new brakes (front and rear), at a cost of £2300 (for which there is an invoice detailing the work). As the owner's father is now too elderly to fully enjoy the car, he wishes it to go to a new owner.
The car was registered in March 1987 and has six registered keepers recorded by its V5C. Its mileage is circa 110,500, although the original instrument cluster malfunctioned in 2022 (a common fault) and was replaced by one from Lithuania on which the mileage is not visible. The last MoT expired in July 2024. Upgrades include a towbar fitted during 2015. The BMW will come with some spares including its four original wheels.
Paperwork includes the V5C, book pack, stamped service book up to 66,000 miles by main dealer, old MoTs from 2010 to 2023 and recent invoices. There's also a set of spare keys.
In 2015, the 735i was a Category C Insurance Loss: Vehicle Extensively Damaged But Repairable, Insurer Decided Not To Repair. This was due to a damaged nearside front wing and spoiler.
